Tampa Bay's future depends on housing affordability.

“The Housing Equation” report, developed with support from JPMorganChase, provides comprehensive information for those committed to building a more sustainable housing ecosystem for all who call Tampa Bay home.

Why does housing affordability matter?

Housing affordability supports Tampa Bay’s economy by helping workers live near their jobs, reducing turnover, easing traffic, and ensuring businesses can attract needed talent. It strengthens the local workforce and promotes sustainable housing growth for all.

The availability of housing that is affordable to the workforce at a variety of income levels is a key component to continue attracting target industries and supporting the Region’s economy.
