Peg Walton joined the Tampa Bay Partnership in 2019, as Executive Director of Tampa Bay Works, bringing to the role more than two decades of professional experience in workforce and talent development.
Walton previously served as Director of the National Center for the American Workforce at the National Association of Manufactures. As Senior Director of Workforce Readiness at Corporate Voices for Working Families, she published research and documentation of scalable, business-led “Learn and Earn” partnerships: A Talent Development Solution: Exploring Business Drivers and Returns in Learn and Earn Partnerships.
Most recently Walton directed the BACK TO WORK 50+ initiative as a consultant to the American Association of Community Colleges, and served as the State Technical Assistant Coach with Maher & Maher in support of the US Department of Labor’s State Apprenticeship Expansion grant in three states, Arkansas, Florida and Minnesota.
Walton lives in Clearwater with her husband, Andy.
