Jennifer Mikosky joined the Tampa Bay Partnership in November 2015. As the Vice President of Strategic Communications and Outreach, she is responsible for the development and implementation of all internal and external communications strategies to protect, promote and enhance the Tampa Bay Partnership brand, and serves as a key ambassador to our investors, community stakeholders, media and other major partners.
An award-winning copywriter and a 2014 finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s BusinessWoman of the Year, Mikosky brings more than 15 years of corporate and community experience to the role, most recently as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, where she worked to position Tampa Bay as a premiere business destination, while establishing the organization as the go-to resource for local economic development expertise.
She previously served in a similar capacity for the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visit Jacksonville, overseeing efforts to elevate the image and influence of the organizations and the Northeast Florida region.
After attending the University of Florida, Mikosky traveled to Dallas to begin her career as a regional field publicist with The Levenson Group, representing more than 150 feature film, television and stage productions for clients including Paramount Pictures, The Sundance Channel and Broadway Across America. She has also managed public relations activities for The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, one of the luxury brand’s largest and most successful resorts, and directed media relations, social media and community outreach for McDonald’s of Tampa Bay.
Mikosky and her husband, Brock, have lived in the Tampa Bay area since 2010.
