In January 2019, the Tampa Bay Partnership’s Regional Talent Working Group, in collaboration with research firm TIP Strategies, released a regional workforce initiative implementation plan: Tampa Bay Works.

As its first step, the Partnership will identify two employer collaboratives (groups of businesses with a common workforce need) to pilot an employer-led, demand-driven workforce initiative in the Tampa Bay region.
This effort will provide a clear target for our educational institutions and workforce organizations, by identifying current and future demand for jobs, and the specific skills, certificates and/or degrees those jobs will require.
A Request for Information (RFI) has been issued to select the initial industry sector and/or talent cluster.

The Partnership hosted an information session on Thursday, January 24 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. to explain the RFI in more detail and answer questions from interested applicants.
