Tampa Bay boasts a diverse collection of individuals and communities, companies and opportunities, special places, rich history and innovative ideas. With a welcoming spirit and a vibrant lifestyle, our region is a world-class destination that appeals to visitors, residents and businesses alike.

In recent decades, the once disparate communities that comprise the region have grown and evolved, creating a thriving economic market with an increasingly expansive reach. At the heart of this market lies the Tampa Bay metropolitan area, the 18th largest MSA in the country, which includes more than 3 million residents of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties.

While many of the Tampa Bay Partnership’s current initiatives emanate from on this central core, we are keenly aware that projected growth patterns will continue to strengthen the ties that bind the greater Tampa Bay region together, from Manatee and Sarasota counties in the south, to Polk in the west and Citrus in the north.

Our leaders are determined to adopt a new dynamic; where we set aside the geographic and political boundaries that create barriers to cooperation. By thinking and acting as one unified region today, we can ensure a more competitive and prosperous region tomorrow.
