Regional Business Leaders Graduate from CEO Direct Class XI
Nearly 20 executives gathered at Raymond James Stadium on February 25, to celebrate the final event of CEO Direct, a 10-month program that convenes regional business leaders to learn more about the issues affecting the economic competitiveness of the Tampa Bay.
After an exciting presentation by Brian Ford, the Chief Operating Officer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the graduates received a final message of thanks and recognition from Rick Homans, President and CEO of the Tampa Bay Partnership.
Now in its eleventh year, the CEO Direct program brings participants together 10 times per year to visit, tour and meet representatives from some of the region’s most significant economic assets.
During the 2015-2016 program year, the agenda included: Eckerd College, USF CAMLS, IMG Academy, Tampa Bay Rays, Port Tampa Bay, Tampa International Airport, Lakeland Regional health, Saint Leo University and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As a graduate of CEO Direct, participants return to their communities with a greater understanding of the Tampa Bay region, a larger network of professional relationships throughout the region, and a stronger appreciation for the value of working together as a region.
