Public Policy Council

The Public Policy Council works to shape a process for determining the key issues that have a long-term impact on the Tampa Bay region and the mission of the Partnership.

• Develop a process whereby the Tampa Bay Partnership will determine issues that are considered to have impact on the region and the mission of the Partnership
• Establish working groups and/or task forces to address issues and recommend specific strategies and action steps
• Bring priority issues to the attention of the Bay area legislative delegation in Tallahassee for united advocacy and action by working with the area's chambers of commerce and other legislative affairs
• Offer an ongoing series of speakers and/or educational efforts to inform the Tampa Bay business community on issues and subjects of importance within the public policy sphere
• Formalize a policy for handling requests from elected officials for the Tampa Bay Partnership's assistance in hosting events and facilitating consitituent contact
