Health Taskforce

As part of our Vision 21 effort, a long range planning commitment to help leaders consider the 50-year horizon, the Partnership is assembling a Health Taskforce. This taskforce will work with local leaders to develop and implement strategies for developing a healthy region.  If you would like more information on the taskforce please contact Katie Nohe at knohe@tampabay.org.

The partnership also supports the Tampa Bay Regional Health Information Organization (TBRHIO).  The TBRHIO is a community based, public/private partnership committed to the development of a regional health information network.  The TBRHIO’s vision is to use the internet to make health records available to doctors and patients at the time and place such information is needed.

Regional Health News:  Healthy Together has been launched.  This organization is a new and innovative coalition focused on turning Tampa Bay into a “Wellness Mecca” by affording residents, workers, students, and visitors an environment where they can be safe, healthy and productive.  For more information visit www.healthy-together.org
