Tampa Bay Partnership (TBP) is a CEO-led regional economic development organization with a mission to work with its partners to market the region nationally and internationally, to conduct regional research, and to coordinate efforts to influence business and government issues that impact economic growth and development. To create a safe forum in which to exchange ideas and disseminate information, TBP and its partners demand a mutual respect for privacy, strict confidentiality of proprietary information, and copyright protection.

Our promise to you
TBP will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit its Web site at www.tampabay.org, unless you affirmatively choose to provide such information.
What information is collected about me when I visit www.tampabay.org? How is it used?
When you visit our site, we automatically collect and store only the following information about you, none of which is personally identifiable:
- Your host name or IP address
- The domain from which you access our site
- The day, month, and year you access our site.
We use this information to calculate the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to future visitors. We do not sell or transfer to third parties any of the information collected automatically from every visitor.
What about “cookies”?
A cookie is a piece of date stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user which will allow them to access this membership-only portion of the site. Cookies are not required of visitors to our Web site. Cookies are used to allow access to the administrative portion of the Market Makers section of our site to allow authorized investors access to update their company or executive profiles.
How secure is my credit card information?
When you make reservations for TBP events using a credit card, we need your name, E-mail address, address, and credit card number/expiration date. We use this data to process your order and shipping confirmations. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
TBP is fully committed to data security. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information you provide to us online.
How will my E-mail address be used?
TBP sends regular communications about announcements, upcoming events, public policy issues and economic development news to investors, partners, elected officials and interested parties. E-mail notices will be sent on a selective basis to investors, partners, and meeting attendees.
How do I opt out of E-mail communications?
You can decline to receive E-mail notifications. We recognize the importance of providing you with choices. At any time, you may ask that these communications be discontinued by simply replying to the E-mail and informing us of your preferences. All E-mail communications that you receive from TBP will tell you how to decline further E-mail communications. If you continue to receive E-mail communications after you have unsubscribed, please contact us directly at news@tampabay.org or call 813-878-2208 and tell us which E-mail communications you do not wish to receive.
Does TBP sell its mailing list?
No. TBP will occasionally share mailing lists with partner organizations for joint initiatives we feel would have value to our partners and investors.
Can I download or forward information from TBP’s Web site to others?
All contents (includes logos, graphics, artwork, photos, button icons, and texts) on TBP’s Web site and publications are copyrighted and all rights are reserved. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose that is not expressly permitted by TBP.

In summary
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to enhance the overall experience of our site visitors. We do exchange street mailing address lists with other nonprofit and specialty groups in the fields TBP serves for one-time use in delivering a direct mail announcement of an event or publication.
