Advanced C4 Solutions, a Tampa-based company created in 2002 by three combat veterans, has been awarded a $41 million contract to support military intelligence missions.
The company provides telecommunications engineering services to the military.
The contract will support missions coordinated by the U.S. Navy Network Warfare Command, the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, and the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition.
The contract, which is for one year with four one-year options, may create jobs in the Washington, D.C., area, company President Hugh Campbell said.
Advanced C4 Solutions employs about 200 people, with 85 in Tampa. It has grown from 50 employees since 2006.
