Tampa Bay Business Journal - April 6, 2006

United States EviroFuels LLC received a state permit to construct an ethanol production plant at Port Sutton.

The permit from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection is for a plant designed to produce up to 50 million gallons of ethanol annually, a release stated.

Ethanol, a fuel additive, is developed from grain and corn and reduces reliance on fossil fuels.

The plant will include grain unloading facilities, storage, milling, fermentation and distillation. Grain delivery will be by truck or rail. Ethanol distribution will be by barge, truck or rail.

U.S. EnviroFuels is the managing corporation for each fuel ethanol plant established in Florida and the Southeast.
