New Lake Wales Plant

MonierLifetile plans to build a 37,000-square-foot concrete roof tile plant in Lake Wales, adding 30 jobs and increasing annual production by 40 percent. The Irvine, Calif., company has manufactured concrete products in Lake Wales since 1958.

MonierLifetile said it is building the plant in response to demand in north and central Florida after the past two hurricane seasons. The company also has plants in Boca Raton and Pompano Beach.
