Manufacturer leaving St. Pete

Electro Mechanical Solutions Inc. is moving to Pasco County.

Currently based in St. Petersburg, the contract manufacturer will build a 41,000-square-foot manufacturing plant on Gunn Highway in Odessa and has plans to expand by another 15,000 square feet within the first year.

EMS designs, develops and manufactures semiconductor processing equipment, as well as conventional industrial processing equipment. It plans to employ about 80 people initially and grow to 100 within the first year.
